Glama-Rama! Salon’s Reopening plans…
We’re so excited to be reopening in July and appreciate the overwhelming response from YOU!
Because our last email had so much important information we wanted to take a moment to reiterate a few things as well as pass along some more specific information in regards to our reopening plans, scheduling and stylist specific info. THERE IS A LOT OF INFORMATION TO RELAY, so we will keep it short and to the point!
We will NOT be monitoring our phones, they have been turned off due to the closure, and we will not return calls until JULY 15th. If you would like to book an appointment please visit our website www.glamarama.com. All stylists are currently available to be booked online at this time.
Appointment requirements are as follows: Please arrive with clean (damp if possible) hair. We will NOT be offering blow dries until further notice. Shampoos will ONLY be offered for color services. You will need to plan accordingly as these are the CDC guidelines. We also want you to consider your mask appropriateness (I.e., color appointments can be messy, be sure to wear a mask you are ok with getting hair color on. We can’t cut over neck straps, so make sure you wear a mask that allows us to access the entire back and sides of your head as we can not guarantee our services unless we are given the appropriate access.) MASKS ARE REQUIRED TO BE WORN THE ENTIRETY OF APPOINTMENTS.
Prior to enter the building we ask that you arrive EXACTLY on time and prepare to wait in-line outside of the salon with your mask on. We will be administering ‘wellness checks’ that include a temperature check. If you show ANY signs of illness we will ask that you leave and reschedule from home. If you refuse these rules we will ask that you leave immediately. PLEASE COME ALONE. Upon entering the building we will ask that you wash your hands before your appointment begins. Because keeping our community safe is our #1 priority, we are expected to keep talking to a minimum and ask that no hugs or handshakes are exchanged.
Lastly, schedules have changed! Some appointments will need to be shifted around to accommodate our new schedules, we will notify you via automated texts and emails when necessary. Please be flexible. Specifically Jenifer Hofmann is available to book online as of now (via www.glamarama.com), once we reopen you will have to call to book with her. Adrienne will be offering Thursdays in Oakland, you can book her at the Oakland location though the Oakland salons booking page located at www.glamarama.com. Katey has changed her schedule to: two days at Valencia, one day in Oakland and one day at HL until further notice. Sadly Zev has decided to exit his career as a hairdresser and move on to a different passion building websites and other computer work. Zev is suggesting that clients in SF book with Denali and clients of Oakland book with Tabitha. Sonja will be returning to school and will no longer be working in the salon, with a possibility of her return in the future. She is recommending that her clients book with Arianna in Oakland for services moving forward.
