Hi I’m Adrienne! I identify as non-binary and use she/they pronouns.

I feel fortunate and grateful to be working at the Glam for many years, and currently work at the Oakland location.  My main focus is making each individual client feel seen and heard. I love helping folks present their style in the way they feel most comfortable.

I’ve been working in San Francisco salons since I arrived from Texas in 1995. My first salon job was assisting at Bladerunners Salon for a team of talented artists including Deena Davenport (before she opened Glama-rama!) 

I’ve also been part of the Bay Area alternative music scene for decades–styling bands and working in many clubs as a DJ, promoter, door and coat check person. I’m passionate about music and its relation to hair styling, especially goth and punk styles with a heavy 80s influence. I’ve had years of training on precision styling and I taught myself that I can break the rules and do things my own way. I like to give every client a custom style no matter what their vibe.

Besides hair my interests are:

MUSIC! (saved my life. Period.)

Traveling the world! (for concerts, DJing, festivals, tourism, food)

Food! I’m an amazing cook (according to friends and family)

Animal rights! I’ve been vegan for over a decade and have volunteered at shelters. 

I ONLY use vegan and cruelty free products!
